Northern Arms Fairs was established in 1978 and has for many years been the leading organisers of antique arms, medals & militaria collectors' fairs in the North of England and further afield, by providing venues for collectors & dealers to share their passion & knowledge of all things military.
A three-day multi-period living history held on the August Bank Holiday weekend. The show is packed full of living history displays bringing 2000 years of history into one place.
You will never see such a spectacular display of dozens of tanks firing, crushing cars and speed demonstrations, all in the UK’s biggest tank arena.
The Le Pas de Calais Libéré is our annual pilgrimage to Northern France to celebrate the Liberation of the Pas du Calais by the British in 1944. The area around Haillicourt is rich in history of both WW1 and WW2. The British involvement in the modern history of the area is significant with both the World Wars. Vimy Ridge, Loos, Neuve Chapelle, Arras, the Somme in WWI and the retreat of 1940 and Liberation in September 1944 in WWII.
The show provides Historical Societies and re-enactments through various forces from several eras and theatres during the period of 1939-45.
An excellent selection of usually around 20 to 25 stalls selling Medals, Badges, Uniforms, Equipment etc.. from 18th century to the present day .
