Once again a wonderfully bright and sunny weekend was enjoyed by all who attended the, now Annual, event at The Royal Artillery Museum, Firepower, in the former Royal Arsenal, Woolwich SE London SE18 6ST. The museum played host and offered free viewing to the owners of the assembled vehicles as well as providing facilities for a warm overnight stay. The contrasts this year were not quite so large and the little Austin 7 was unable to be with us, due to mechanical problems. The Museum Quad, limber and 25pds did make their appearance and the Ward LaFrance wrecker managed to find work starting the Quad! Two of the champs also showed how they can two the gun, just as easily. See you all again next year, same time same place, different vehicles. Mike Buckley |
